See my first Full Moon blend post here for information about the creation of the lunar blends and the definition of a Full Moon. Blog subscribers get early access to the monthly blends!
This month's Full Moon occurs on Friday, June 5th at 3:12 pm (EDT) at 15º 34' of the sign of Sagittarius, opposite the Sun in Gemini. This month's Full Moon is also a lunar eclipse, the first eclipse of the June/July eclipse season (find out more here). By combining the signature essential oils of Sagittarius and Gemini, a sense of harmony between the opposite signs can be created, easing the amplified tension of this particular Full Moon. I chose Lavender as the blend's third oil for its ability to soothe and to help bring feelings of peace and calm. The Full Moon energy, combined with the eclipse energy, will greatly amplify our feelings and emotions during this time.
Full Moon in Sagittarius Diffuser Blend
2 drops Basil Sweet (Ocimum basilicum) (Gemini)
2 drops Black Pepper (Piper nigrum) (Sagittarius)
4 drops Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia)
Add the oils to your favorite diffuser and breathe deeply. Diffusing this blend a few days before, during and a few days after the full moon is good timing to take advantage of the soothing effects.

About This Full Moon
“Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world." ~Harriet Tubman
There is going to be palpable edge and tension during this Full Moon. The planetary interactions, in addition to the eclipse energy, will be intense. The magnitude of collective tension and unrest is already ablaze, and we're still 5 days away from the Moon's fullness at the time I'm writing this post. I think it's important to focus on the positive energy available to us at this time. Sagittarius is the sign of the philosopher, the teacher, the passionate free spirit and the traveler. It's where the abundance of Gemini ideas mature and expand into knowledge and wisdom. The symbol is that of an arrow aimed up at 45º, demonstrating the importance of aiming high, aiming true and believing that no matter where the arrow lands, to harness the hope from the moment of release is to drive the momentum forward. Spend some moments in reflection on the last two weeks (since the new moon on 5/22) and the last six months (Sagittarius new moon on 11/26/2019), and focus on how you've grown, what you've accomplished and who you've become. Travel within and spend some time with your soul. The Sagittarius Full Moon is also known as the Strawberry Moon. So many seeds! What has grown for which you can offer up gratitude, and what hasn't that you can now release. Finding the Gemini/Sagittarius axis in your chart can help bring clarity and focus to your reflection.
Be sure whatever it is that has expanded and will remain is in alignment with your arrows.
Be sure you're honoring your truth.
Be sure to honor the energy of the Moon and the eclipse through reverence, gratitude, meditation and inner calm.
We will be in this intensity of eclipse season until July 5th.
