A Full Moon occurs when the Sun & Moon are opposite to each other, or 180 degrees apart. If you've watched the Full Moon rise, you'll notice that it rises just as the Sun is setting, directly across or 180 degrees opposite. When this occurs, the Sun is in a particular zodiac sign, and the Moon is in the opposite sign. This opposition between the Sun and Moon highlights the duality between the signs.
This month's Full Moon occurs on Friday, January 10th at 2:22 pm (EST) at approximately 20 degrees of the sign of Cancer, opposite the Sun in Capricorn. By combining the signature essential oils of Cancer and Capricorn, a sense of harmony between the opposite signs can be created, easing any tension felt before, during or after the moon is full. I will choose the additional oil(s) based on the energetics present due to other planets or other factors

5 drops German Chamomile (Matricaria recutita) (Cancer)
3 drops Vetiver (Vetiveria zizanioides) (Capricorn)
3 drops Grapefruit (Citrus paradisi)
Add the oils to your favorite diffuser and breathe deeply. Diffusing this blend a few days before, during and a few days after the full moon is good timing to take advantage of the soothing effects.
