This month's Full Moon is tomorrow, Thursday, January 28th at 2:16 pm (EST) at 9º 5' of Leo, opposite the Sun in Aquarius. The duality of the opposing signs of Leo (Moon) and Aquarius (Sun) is focus on the self versus focus on the group. Finding balance in the energy of the two opposing signs may be amplified under the Full Moon energy, especially with some of the tense energy present during this particular Full Moon. The Moon is in the Sun's sign of Leo for this Full Moon, which amplifies the boldness, the heart and the bravery in being oneself.
The New Moon in Leo was on August 18th, 2020.

Jasmine is the signature oil for the zodiac sign of Leo. I added Orange Sweet to the blend since I love blending oils that come from the (almost) same plant. Neroli is the flower of the bitter orange tree! This blend is warm and inviting, calling in some of that Leo warmth and sunshine during the cold Aquarius season (here in the Northern Hemisphere).

Tomorrow's Full Moon packs a punch! The squares, the oppositions, the conjunctions - oh My!
Put 'em up, put 'em up! Ok, enough Wizard of Oz references...I'll try to sum up the vibe without getting too into the weeds. When I think about tomorrow's energy, I'm reminded of the Tongues of Fire. There's forever a challenge to be unapologetically and wholeheartedly oneself. To fully express the sacred, divine spark within that is the source of the unique expression of Self. Shedding skins and layers and conditioning to get to the purity of the Soul. There is an abundance and an inherent benevolence that accompanies the heart-centered, creative life force within each one of us. Being YOU in the outside world, regardless of the group, is the most courageous gift, the most passionate act, the most divine love one can give to the World. Revel in the pride of being your true, sovereign Self. This is the first Full Moon of 2021, just ahead of the first Mercury Retrograde of 2021 (1/30 - 2/20). The Leo/Aquarius dynamic is near to my own heart as this is my nodal axis. Leo is the sign of my Soul's growth, and facing the fears around being my true, authentic Self have been some of my most terrifying and rewarding experiences! I love working with the lunar cycles, and find it especially interesting to practice the long game - New Moon to Full Moon in the same sign. Back in August of 2020, during the Leo New Moon, my fourth house intentions were to find the best home for myself and my husband, that would bring us joy and improve our overall quality of life. Six months later, under the waxing Moon, I'm writing this post in our new home, two blocks from the beach on the island where we both grew up, the home to which we've been longing to return for years. Moon magic has been a dynamic along the way throughout the journey of returning home, and I'm so very grateful to everyone who has helped make this possible for us.
