A New Moon occurs when the Sun & Moon are conjunct, or at the same degree and minute of the same zodiac sign. This conjunction between the Sun and Moon accentuates the energy of the sign, and is a wonderful time of the lunar cycle to think about new beginnings, manifesting and setting intentions for the next 6 months.
This month's New Moon occurs on Tuesday, March 24th at 5:29 am (EDT) at approximately 4 degrees of the sign of Aries. The signature oil of Aries is Rosemary, which comprises most of this New Moon blend. Rosemary is wonderful for relieving tension in muscles and in the head. It can help with awakening the senses and feeling energized. It can help sharpen mental focus and concentration. I added Peppermint to the blend to enhance the energizing and awakening effects.

New Moon in Aries Diffuser Blend
6 drops Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis ct. camphor)
2 drops Peppermint (Mentha x piperita)
Add the oils to your favorite diffuser and breathe deeply.
With the new "lockdown" orders being enacted in each state, getting out to purchase oils may not be an option. If you do not have Rosemary essential oil, and cannot get out to purchase it, you can order it online here, or from your favorite retailer. If purchasing it isn't an option at this time, cooking with the herb in fresh or dried format, drinking rosemary tea or infusing your water with the fresh herb are other ways to enjoy it. If you have a Rosemary plant, you could sit next to it and exchange energy with it in that way as well. It's a good time to get creative!

Aries is the first sign of the Zodiac and is a Cardinal Fire sign. Cardinal Fire is the energy of creation, initiation, passion and action. It's life force. Add wings, and we have a reminder that something new is being created for us by the current situation, which is providing opportunity for something to take flight. It's up to us to decide what it will be. We are being asked to be who we truly are in our hearts as individuals, and to heal any false identities we have assumed based on what society or other outside influences have told us to be. Old structures are falling away to create something new that allows us to return to ourselves in a more nurturing, caring, vulnerable and loving way.
